Newark and Sherwood District Council’s Economic Growth Team offer free personalised help and support to local business owners through their regular business support surgeries. At the one-to-one sessions, you can discuss your business’s strategy, goals and challenges, gaining valuable insights that will help you steer your business forward.

Each October, Newark and Sherwood District Council hosts its flagship business event — the Economic Growth Conference.
Designed to connect, inspire and support local businesses, the conference brings together business leaders, industry experts and entrepreneurs for a day of thought-provoking presentations, practical workshops and valuable networking opportunities. Focusing on a different topic each year, the conference provides insights and strategies to help businesses thrive in a changing economic environment.

The D2N2 Growth Hub offers business development events in Nottinghamshire. Benefit from in-person workshops, online webinars, impartial business advice and support, business accelerator programmes, information on loans, grants and other business finance options, and much more. Fully funded by the UK government, all events are free of charge for business owners based in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
